Ready-Made Modules

Each module groups several experiences around a single unit of study. Students move freely between experiences during their session, so a module works whether a student wants to go deep on one topic or sample across several.

Use the standards list under each module when you write it into a learning plan or purchase order.

How a Curriculum Day Works

Families arrive during their scheduled block and students choose from the experiences approved for their grade band. Most students move through several experiences in a session — each one is self-contained, so there is no penalty for switching when something catches their interest.

Our VR Guides handle all setup, fitting and supervision. No preparation is required from you, though students who have already covered a topic in their coursework tend to get considerably more out of it.

Documenting the Learning

Every experience in this catalog lists the specific standards it addresses — Next Generation Science Standards, California History-Social Science Content Standards, Common Core Math and English Language Arts, California Arts Standards, and California Physical Education and Health Education Standards.

You can copy these codes directly into a learning record or work sample log. If you need a written summary of what a particular student experienced during a visit, ask us at check-out and we will prepare one.

A note on our alignment work: standards codes in this catalog reflect HEROES VR Adventures' own review of each experience's content. They are offered as a starting point for your planning, not as a publisher certification.

Accessibility & Comfort

Several experiences offer hands-free or guided modes for students who prefer not to use controllers, and a number include audio narration in Spanish, French and German. Let us know in advance what would help and we will set the session up accordingly.

If a student has not used virtual reality before, we start with a short, gentle experience so they can get comfortable before moving on. Students can step out at any point, and equipment is sanitized between every user as part of our documented safety program.
