Venue Policies & What to Know Before Your Visit

Age Recommendation

We strongly recommend that guests be at least 8 years old to participate in our standard VR experiences.

Exceptions may be considered individually based on equipment fit, the guest’s ability to understand and follow instructions, and their ability to use the equipment safely. Any exception must be evaluated and approved by a HEROES VR Guide and is not guaranteed.

Reservations and Pricing

All listed prices are based on equipment reserved per headset.

• Room Scale VR: Each active player requires their own reserved station. Multiplayer games require at least two stations to be reserved at the same time.

• Free Roam Arena: Each active player requires their own reserved headset. Multiple headsets must be booked together for players to participate in the same shared experience.

Arrival, Check-In, and Orientation

Please arrive on time for your reservation.

Your scheduled start time includes check-in, completion of the required liability waiver, and a brief safety and equipment orientation. Arriving on time helps ensure that you receive your full scheduled play experience.

Guests who arrive late may receive reduced play time because reservations must remain on schedule for guests booked afterward. Missed time resulting from a late arrival is not refundable.

Cancellation and Party Deposit Policy

Standard reservations canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method.

Party Package reservations include a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the total package price. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of the party and is not an additional fee.

If a Party Package is paid in full at the time of booking, 30% of the total payment is considered the non-refundable deposit. If the reservation is canceled, that 30% deposit will not be refunded. Any remaining amount will be handled according to the cancellation policy above.

Our Facility

HEROES VR Adventures is a social virtual reality experience center serving Roseville and the Greater Sacramento area. Our open floor plan can accommodate up to 14 active VR participants at once and features two distinct play formats.

• Room Scale VR Stations

Our facility includes 10 individual Room Scale VR stations. Each station has a dedicated headset and a private play area for one active player.

Players can interact together in shared virtual worlds by reserving multiple stations for the same session.

• Free Roam Arena

Our Free Roam Arena allows up to six players to walk, explore, and interact together within a shared physical and virtual space. This highly mobile format is ideal for groups seeking a cooperative, team-based adventure.

Comfort and Amenities

We offer several amenities to make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable.

• Complimentary Coffee Station

Guests are welcome to enjoy fresh coffee while waiting or relaxing between sessions.

• Massage Chair Add-On

A massage chair experience may be added to your reservation for guests who would like to relax while others play. Availability may vary.

Medical and Safety Considerations

Virtual reality can create intense visual, auditory, reactive, and spatial sensations. Participation may cause motion sickness, dizziness, headaches, loss of balance, physical collisions, falls, stress, sensory overstimulation, or other symptoms.

VR systems may also display flashing lights, optical effects, or visual patterns that could trigger seizures or other medical episodes in susceptible individuals.

Virtual reality is a relatively new form of entertainment, and not every potential risk is fully known. By choosing to participate in a HEROES VR Adventures experience, you acknowledge and accept both known and unknown risks and assume personal responsibility for your participation.

Guests who are pregnant, elderly, taking medications, managing a medical condition, or otherwise concerned about possible adverse effects are strongly encouraged to refrain from participating or consult a qualified medical professional beforehand.

For guest safety and comfort, all wearable VR equipment is sanitized between uses with a skin-safe disinfectant.

Hygiene Policy

To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, guests must arrive free of strong or lingering odors.

Because our venue is an enclosed, shared space—and VR equipment is worn close to the face—strong odors can negatively affect other guests and staff. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Body odor

• Cigarette or cigar smoke

• Marijuana

• Alcohol

• Heavy perfumes, colognes, or fragrances

If an odor becomes disruptive, the guest may be asked to take a brief break, make an adjustment, or, in rare cases, leave the venue. Refunds will not be provided if play time is reduced or ended because of hygiene-related concerns.
