Book NowWhat Kind of VR Can You Actually Play at HEROES?
VR gaming in Sacramento is not one single type of game. At HEROES, you don't have to squeeze your group into one format. You can choose the experience that fits your crew, your comfort level, and how much you want to move.
Room Scale VR
Room Scale gives each player a personal VR station where you can move, reach, swing, dodge, shoot, and explore. With 50+ games available and the ability to switch between experiences, it's a great starting point for first-timers and a flexible choice for experienced players.
Free Roam VR
Want to play together? Free Roam puts up to six players inside the same shared physical and virtual arena. You can walk, explore, fight, solve problems, and work together instead of playing side-by-side in separate bays.
VR Escape Rooms
VR escape rooms bring teamwork, problem-solving, and immersive worlds together. They're a fun choice when your group wants to figure something out together rather than simply compete for a high score.
Junior HEROES
Bringing younger adventurers? Junior HEROES gives younger children their own age-appropriate way to experience VR. It is designed for kids who may not be ready for standard VR, so younger siblings can join the adventure too.
Who Is HEROES VR Best For?
You do not need to be a gamer to enjoy this. Actually, first-timers are kind of our thing.
Our VR Guides help you choose an experience, get comfortable with the equipment, and understand what to do before you jump in. That means the nervous first-timer, experienced gamer, and curious parent can all walk through the door without needing to know how VR works beforehand.
The VR experience Sacramento crowd can find plenty of ways to make the visit their own. HEROES is a great fit for:
And if you're not playing every minute? That's okay too. Spectator screens, lounge seating, snacks, drinks, and other amenities give non-players a place to relax while the adventure continues.
How HEROES Differs From Other Sacramento VR Options
We're not about the coolest venue but what kind of adventure you want and what we can offer.
For virtual reality Sacramento, VR Sacramento, and VR in Sacramento searches, you'll find venues built around different experiences. Unlike other venues that have multiple activities cramped up in one, we take a different approach.
Instead of making one VR format the whole experience, you can choose from Room Scale, Free Roam, escape rooms, and Junior HEROES. That gives groups more flexibility when everyone doesn't want the exact same thing.
What to Know Before You Book
Check the booking page before you leave Sacramento.
We recommend standard VR for guests age eight and older, while younger children have a separate Junior HEROES option. Walk-ins are welcome, but we strongly recommend you make reservations ahead of time, especially on weekends, for a seamless experience.
